In the 2009 financial year, over 90% of our income came from institutional donors, primarily New Partners Initiative (NPI), African Comprehensive HIV/AIDS Partnerships (ACHAP), and the GOLD program funded by Hope HIV. The remaining 10% was split among income from gifts and donations and income generating projects, such as DVD sales and rental of our stage truck.

At YOHO, we strive to ensure that the majority of every dollar of donor income raised is spent on programme costs that help to raise awareness of HIV among Batswana youth. We understand that our donors put a great deal of faith in our ability to make a difference in the communities that we reach, and we aspire to honour our commitment to our donors and our cause by 100%.

Our financial statements are audited annually for reliability and verifiability by BDO, an outside reputable accounting firm.
